Erasmus+ Malta experience
Riceviamo e volentieri pubblichiamo
This short
passage is just to let you know something about the project ERASMUS + MobilitΓ Azione KA121- MALTA “Let’s
go together beyond barriers”
We were a
group made up by 18 students from all the classes of our Institute with two English teachers. We stayed in a hotel in Marsascala, a suburb of La Valletta
,that used to be a little village of fishermen ,for 5 days, from 26th to 30th November
2023
We shared
the experience with another school, a
professional one, in Paola, an inner district of La Valletta, where we met the students and we performed
some activities to become familiar , and then we joined their classes to be completely
immersed in their daily routine .
Our hosts
organized for us a “Treasure Hunt “in Meuia the old fascinating capital
of Malta and they also allowed us to visit a big shipyard, that was a great
opportunity for us to see all machinery
used for ships’ repairing and
maintenance .
We spent
free time exploring LaValletta. We visited St John’s Co-Cathedral built
by the Order of the knights of St John and
we had fun taking ferries and boats and
lifts to move from one side to the other of the port .
I would suggest this experience to all the students of this school because it’s very fun and it’s a concrete possibility to improve your level of English as you use it all the time and specially with people who speak it very well.
